Facing My Fears: Don’t be like me...
🛑 & Listen
Don’t be like me... rushing… fighting…working… 🛑!
Stop and taste the fresh air you naturally breathe. Feel the warm Sun on your skin. Smell something repulsive just to wake up, alive. Scope in on your world a little closer, ask why? Find the signals within the symbols. Listen to the messages of nature to garden, not the hearings of abstraction and invention.
🛑
Stop to make sure you dream today. Walk the pyramids to see how small you are in comparison to the ancient burden of the greatness of your ancestors. Look at yourself in nature and in the mirror, and stay there awhile until you see your nature—don’t move. Count your details. Trace your fingers along your hometown on the map of your face, and see if you are lucky enough leave it’s boundaries. Thinking with your eyes has always been free, yet the mind has always been a fear for you to wield.
🛑
Stop and Learn to hold Earth’s history with compassion everywhere you Go—not as a museum to do as you please, but as a debt to pay to and work for… horrid sufferings and ignorant choices—costs paid in order for you to benefit as Free today.
🛑
Respect and honor their creations that we enjoy off their labor today. Thank you. Leave your roots behind for a day to explore your relations. You’ll want to stay. In the present and the future, then yours to create.
🛑
Breathe in the salty, burning, crisp air. It is a humbling, odious, violent desert air... Don’t breathe in for too long, it’ll choke the life right out of you. One at a time. In. then Out.
I know you think you have to Go, Do, Be. But if you 🛑, you know your being.
You know it still.
Drink up. I know you must be thirsty.
I pray you wake up to believe in yourself today, the only coherent form of belief that is not yet true knowledge. I love you! ❤️
