Hello hello People,
I want to investigate the art that broke the status quo. As Gore Vidal put simply: “Art is energy shaped by intelligence.” I’m not arguing all art is to be philosophically dense. But is it understood? I see surface-level symbols often accepted, while in practice, the deeper poetry is rejected. That gap is interesting, and made me wonder. Do audiences struggle to pay full attention to art, to its layers—or lack there of? Is this just my particular interpretation, do others relate? Coming from someone so easily in awe, I often miss signals in the noise too.
