Long time no update,
We have an interview series coming up soon on creators. And I wanted to briefly explain our core habit and new features rolled out:
One seed per day.
Why? The best way to prepare for the future is being present today. After you do something, track it. Metaphorically plant the seed to have knowledge of what you did. When you have it all stored in mind, and move from mind to action—all your inputs become noise when trying to understand an outcome. This makes learning toxic. And encourages a pivot from an expectation of curiosity to certainty based on outcome.
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.”
Habitually, most people measure outcomes to determine their input, but this reinforces an emotional reliance on legible cause and effect to reward linearly. Acting of your own volition as opposed to following a scripted path will teach you otherwise. The process is spiral.
When you’re ready to commit to something, be it reading or chess practice, plant towards it daily. Flow states feel timeless because it reinforces an internal clock of love not scarcity. So pay 30 secs of your attention to tracking your daily practice. Count your commitment, that’s the input that matters.
I’m calling it anti-school because I think structure and metrics can be “good data” when conserving energy and steering growth, I’m anti-external grading in learning and growth. Someone outside of you likely has no idea all that you are, come from, and are becoming. The grade that matters first in life is freely, whether you show up and why or why not—no shame. If your progress lives in your head, or on notes, you won’t be able to show your work every step of the way.
This is a tour of our next big update:
a Garden
Whether it’s violin lessons, daily chess, or reading time—each project/skill gets its own section to track. You plant seeds Today to watch them grow frictionlessly in the garden.
This was inspired by Github which visually empowers me to build things because I love seeing my green squares grow!!

Projects
Skills, habits, experiments, passion projects, dreams, etc. Keep track of it’s progress from start to finish. Once you add your “thing”, set your founding parameters, Planna Man will give you constraints, and a template of one thing to try each day this week!
Life
The life tab is a story of your input.
Your consistency or lack there of will speak loud and indicate whether you to need drop something, dive deeper into it, or pivot to something else. This data will also go to your pow! which makes your inputs legible to express.
Review
Set a weekly review time to send an email to yourself with your progress for this week, we automatically add all of your logged seeds to each thread.
If these new features are useful for free learning, let me know! If it’s hella cognitive load, tell me that louder.

Rn we are charging $2/monthly and our Horizon House events are free!! So more soon on that front.
Seed the Earth, to see the Future.
